With a rich history dating back to 1801, the Pittsfield Fourth of July Parade, has been a fun and vibrant community event enjoyed by generations of Berkshire County residents and visitors.
Our ALL-volunteer Parade Committee and Board is hard at work planning and executing this year’s theme; “Young at Heart”. The theme celebrates the youth of our community and the generations that have come before them. Whether you’re a marching band, a drum corps, a dance team, or the sponsor of a beautiful float, our goal is to celebrate community and create an event that leaves spectators with lasting memories.
Year after year, sponsorship donations from the local business community, area civic, fraternal and veteran organizations and thousands of individual Berkshire County residents are the reason the parade has been able to maintain its stature and reputation as one of the greatest Fourth of July parades in America.
