Here we are again for the 13th Annual Fullerton Loves a Parade 4th of July Community Bike Parade.
We will begin gathering at the intersection of Wilshire and Woods at 9:45 AM. The parade will be led this year by our first ever Grand Marshall our favorite local Fullerton Loves Food celebrity the one and only “Pops”. The parade will start at 10:30 AM and once again be supported by the Fullerton Police department and will proceed East on Wilshire across Harbor to Cornell where we will loop back to end at the Downtown Plaza by the Fullerton Museum Center. The parade will end here and we will be heading off to Amerige Park to play kickball if you want to. I know that Back Alley and The Bowery will also be open for food and drinks
At Amerige field we will be hosting the inaugural EHA(East of Harbor ) v. WEHA(West of Harbor) kickball game. It will be a fun spirited friendly game of kickball.
If you are not able to ride in the parade remember there are plenty of places along the route to cheer along the riders. Ford park at Richman and Wilshire offers a long shady grass area to catch the event.
Please remember this is a slow paced leisurely ride through the streets of Fullerton. Thanh you Fullerton Police department for handling traffic control through the intersections. Please watch out for your children and for the safety of all involved we ask you not to speed through the crowds or do wheelies down the street. This event is a fun community gathering of people and we are fortunate to be able to continue. Thank you for your cooperation in making this happen and thank you to the city of Fullerton for helping us to make it happen.
